Medium Monday #2: A Casual Meeting
Mondays are special for our team. We meet every Monday morning, coming together across our various placements around the world, and we meet with one common goal — to make SpiritSwap better than it was the day before.
I want to just take a moment to talk a little bit about what it’s like in our meetings, what goes on, what we focus our time on, and how we get things done so that all of us can benefit from these Monday meetings. Don’t worry, I will avoid sharing too much alpha so that you can sleep at night, I’d hate to excite everyone too much — all in due time, friends.
Firstly our meetings are spent like a group of friends reconvening at brunch after some time apart. Surely, we message each other in our various groupchats everyday for work on Spirit, but a voice call really brings the feeling of togetherness that an quick ping in Discord just cant achieve. We do this first because as mentioned in last weeks article, we’re a family style business. Companionship and comradery is a big part of keep spirits high and motivations focused.
We then usually move into the main big points for the week, today we focused on things like V3 farms, partnership building, and finalizing tokenomics for Q2 (more on this in future entries, we are beyond excited for our from-scratch design).
The court then really turns into an open-session. everyone has equal right to speak, agree, disagree, or throw out a new idea. We as a team are never married to one plan, course of action, or end-result. We work together to test one another in insuring that the decisions we make are as full-proof as possible to the direct benefit of you, the SpiritSwap community. Every part of our meeting has that one central goal.
We as a team won’t meet again until Thursday, but it’s never like the Monday meeting. Thursday is an extension of the plans laid out on Monday. Many people hate Monday, but for me and the SpiritSwap team, it’s our favorite day. We get to come together, spend time with our friends, and build the best exchange on Fantom. Could you ask for more?
